- MLCP contains multi level concrete slabs on which the vehicles are parked and serviced. Concrete slabs, by the way they are formed by the hydration of cement, water and aggregates, are porous and contain multi capillaries and so the leakages of fuels, battery acids and cleaning fluids from the vehicles parked on upper slabs slowly enter into concrete vertebra and start attacking the cement paste that bonds the reinforced steel, leading to structural failures.
- The concrete surface, because of the absorption of oil and pollutants, be-comes dark, slippery and unsafe. More over, the concrete being poor in tensile strength is prone to crumbling on impact and abrasion of vehicular traffic, thus creating concrete dusting. So in order to mitigate concrete dusting and oil absorption, the concrete slabs need to be coated with hard-wearing polymeric coatings.
- The coating systems, called Traffic Deck coatings or Car Park Coatings are installed at various thicknesses to protect the substrate as well as to enhance aesthetics and safety, ensuring a welcoming impression for motorists.
Why We Need to Coat Car Parking Area?
Features:
- Should be hard- wearing and resistant to cracking
- Should reduce noise from tyre squeals
- Be anti-skid
We provide customers' approval for each type of waterproofing system
we will form part of the project's Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) system.
